Nazis Screwed Up The Swastika For Everyone

I have been watching, quite impressed for a while, the articles that are appearing in Wired Magazine. Generally they have been improving at a great rate. Quite gutsy stuff. Particularly in relation to the shenanigans of the bush administration. For some reason this particular topic has been surfacing again in conversations here in Sydney and Melbourne, so I though I would add this little link here:

The Swastika: an equilateral cross, arms bent at right angles. For a couple thousand years before Hitler, it was used largely as a symbol of luck. And then the Nazis came along, dealing a blow to the swaztika from which the PR department of Swaztika Incorporated might never recover.
